Kendra Toth approached me to help her define and establish a strong, authentic brand identity for her race consulting services. She needed a clear strategy to effectively market herself and communicate her mission of transforming whiteness and cultivating equity. OverView
The project started with an in-person meeting, where I learned about Kendra’s services, values, and vision. From there, I worked on crafting a comprehensive brand strategy, which included: - Brand Identity: Developed a unique value proposition (UVP), brand story, and messaging framework. - Naming & Tagline: Provided name and tagline options that captured her mission. - Core Brand Foundations: Defined her Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Brand Essence. - Target Audience & Personas: Identified ideal clients and created audience profiles. - Visual Identity: Designed a cohesive color palette, typography, and imagery that reflected her brand’s ethos. To present this information in a structured, visually engaging format, I created a Gamma presentation that outlined the entire branding strategy and provided clear, actionable insights. After reviewing the branding work, we decided that a digital brochure would best showcase Kendra Toth Consulting.
The Challenge

The Solution
With a clear brand direction, we designed a four-page digital brochure in Adobe InDesign. The design reflected feminine qualities, complementing her work's sensitive and transformative nature. Key messaging, such as “Transforming Whiteness, Cultivating Equity” and “Bridging the Gap Between Values and Actions in Equity and Inclusion,” was strategically placed to reinforce her expertise and impact. Kendra’s core messaging was central to the design: "I empower organizations to align their values with meaningful, systemic change. With a deep focus on dismantling dominant culture, fostering inclusive leadership, and creating sustainable equity practices, I bring decades of expertise in antiracism strategies, organizational transformation, and courageous dialogue facilitation. By leveraging innovative methodologies and compassionate collaboration, I equip leaders and teams to confront dominance, embrace discomfort, and cultivate lasting cultural transformation." The final brochure visually and narratively captured Kendra’s mission, providing a compelling, professional, and accessible resource for her clients and stakeholders.

The collaboration resulted in a refined, purpose-driven brand identity that aligned with Kendra’s values and positioned her as a trusted expert in racial equity consulting. The digital brochure gave her a powerful marketing tool to showcase her work, enhance her credibility, and connect with organizations seeking systemic change.
